:Changes to my study programme
Hi everybody, we are here for a new Sunday blog, today I'm going to write about
some changes that I would make to the curriculum of my sociology degree at the University of Chile. In the first place, without a doubt, I would change the "cfg" since without being extremely inefficient, boring and nobody takes them seriously, it is then that in their place what I would do would be to place as elective extra-program activities that develop a greater participation with the people who more vulnerable so that as students of this university we are active members of the community.
It's not a secret the mayors in Chile are really longer than should be in reality, and this is because in this country where education is a business like a lot of other social rights like Health services or social protection and for this I remove some classes like “population and society” or “Social Research Designs”.
As for the time that should be devoted to each class, sometimes I think that it is disproportionate in terms of what we are expected to dedicate to it, for example, Economiy, a class to which in theory we should dedicate 3 hours a week, for the evaluation I dedicated much more than that.
Regarding the infrastructure, I think it is necessary to have a canteen in the Faculty of Social Sciences since it is a big problem not having a place to eat in the Faculty because at the moment we have to move to other parts of the campus to eat and many Sometimes when I arrive at other cantee's the food is over.
Ok this is all bye.
I really hate when workload and the time that we should use in a subject it's not the same at all :(
