:Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hi everybody, we are here for a new Sunday blog, today I'm going to write about  some changes that I would make to the curriculum of my sociology degree at the University of Chile. In the first place, without a doubt, I would change the "cfg" since without being extremely inefficient, boring and nobody takes them seriously, it is then that in their place what I would do would be to place as elective extra-program activities that develop a greater participation with the people who more vulnerable so that as students of this university we are active members of the community. It's not a secret the mayors in Chile are really longer than should be in reality, and this is because in this country where education is a business like a lot of other social rights like Health services or social protection  and for this I remove some classes like “population and society” or “Social Research Designs”.  As for the time that should be devoted to each class, sometimes I think that...

Back to the future

Imagen
Hi everybody, we are here for a new Sunday blog, today I'm going to write about a topic that is much exploited by the cinematographic media, travelling both to the past and to the future.  I personally prefer to travel to the past, to see with my own eyes some of the historical events that I have studied in the history of Chile and the world. I would like to be a witness of events such as a spectacle in the Roman coliseum, a great general assembly in the agora of ancient Greece, a witness of the way of life in the Spanish colony in Peru, among many other relevant historical events. On the other hand, in the future I would like to travel to the year in which in theory the world would end due to the effects of global warming, to know if technically I or my hypothetical children would be able to witness such an unfortunate event and take measures beforehand. I know it's a bit of a dramatic scenario but this is the world that awaits me so thank you... I guess... After all that has ...

My dream job

Imagen
Hello everyone, We are here for a new sunday blog, today I'm going to writing about my dream job. Unfortunately, I have to start  by explaining that none of the jobs I dreamed of being in the future were ever done. First I wanted to be a police man, I want to be when I was approximately 4 or 6 years old.  Second I wanted to be a soccer player, I had that dream for many years, from the  age of seven to thirteen. However  I knew that my dream was not likely to come true because the world of soccer is a very competitive environment where only a few make it to professional soccer. In addition , I knew that I would not be successful as a professional footballer since I have a serious problem with frustration so I would not have been able to face complicated game or situations. So right now I think it should be a civil servant, quietly working in some administrative position.   The necessary skills would be to handle data analysis programs such as advanced Excel...

In there I go to the beach in Copacabana and visted the "Cristo del Corcovado " and  "Pão de Açúcar" also We visited a academy of salsa who I don´t remember the name. But I know a few months later presented in the big carnaval of Rio.  In Rio I ate a lot of feijoada a tipical Brazilian food. The history of this plate is the times of the slavery in Brazil when the slave eat the leftover and for this the feijoada is a mix of rice beans and pork with other's meats. I think are the best holidays ever because was my first experience travel...

A country I would like to visit

Imagen
Hi everyone I'm here for a new blog, new semester and a new English hahahahahahahah (pls stop). Well, today I am going to talk about a country that I would like to visit, and this place is Spain. I would really like to know Spain because it is a country very close to me, since my father lived there for 4 years and he has told me all my life,  that experience was one of the best  of his life. Because it is there, where his mentality changed in 360° degrees to live others realities than the Chilean during and post dictatorship. That is why I believe that being there would complete the story arc of my family. In Spain I would like to visit as many cities as possible, Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, etc.  Because each autonomous community has an independent and individual culture.  In Spain I would like to visit many museums, beaches, bars and restaurants to eat traditional food like paella or Iberian ham. I would really like to study in Spain because of the prestige th...

In this photo you can see me when I was 9 years old, I was a  child model for  the  jersey  of my team called, Palestino, however I am not a fan of "Palestino" in Chile I only played in their when I was a child because  you know my team ever and forever is Colo-Colo. This photo was taken by my coach Pancho Castro, I like a lot this picture because it represents a really happy and important period in my life because only I played soccer and fun with my friends and I had a dream,to be a soccer player, If you read my others blogs you know it. OK guys you know I only do this for my English class so goodbye and hopefully the teacher Benjamin passed me I don´t do this again.

My favorite food

Imagen
Hi everyone, I am here for the new blog of Thursday. Today we are talking about my favorite food the "aji de gallina" this is a traditional food of Peru. This food has chicken, chili the color is yellow and rice. The thing that makes the taste special when you combine the ingredients in your mouth. However its not really healthy, because it  is a lot of carbohydrate , but this is not  a problem because everyone gonna die so only eat and stay silent.   However i think all the food of Peru is really delicious and I like a lot, food like "causa limeña" , "ceviche"  or "lomo salteado".   I have to admit this decision was really complicated because i like a lot of food, like sushi, all version of the avocado or palta like said in Chile. This is all for today, goodbye.
